Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Tri-City Christian Eagles (Vista, CA) and the host St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA), observed Tri-City Christian's volleyball team hold off St. Joseph Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Stingrays enter the contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Coastal Academy got by Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Crusaders battle the Escondido Charter Tigers (Escondido, CA) in a contest, on Wednesday, October 23. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 12-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Olympian (Chula Vista, CA).
