Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Holy Cross advances its record to 9-7 on the campaign.

The Raiders now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Bradford for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Blue Ridge will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.
