It took 98 grueling minutes, but Bolton/Warrensburg's Sullivan Eager puts his head on the game-winner off a corner kick by Louis Lang to seal the victory with 1:21 left in the second overtime in this Adirondack League Championship Semi-final match. It was a match for the ages! Lake George Lakers, 4-9-2 this year, played tenacious defense throughout the match to keep Bolton/Warrensburg's offense frustrated. B-W peppered LG's Marty Farrell with 21 shots and produced 12 corner kicks, but could not find the back of the net. Of note for LG were Ryer Schemerhorn, Nick Haverly, Thomas Kohls, and James Richard. Bolton/Warrensburg,15-0, got some fantastic play from Shane Mowery, Alex Bouloukos, Jacob French, and Andy Morehouse; not to mention Keith Sonley, who is the owner of the career shutout record since the merger began between Bolton/Warrensburg with 35!! BW advances to play Corinth, who beat Fort Ann 2-0, in Saturday's Adirondack League Championship at Schuylerville at 7pm.
