With the triumph, Sandia moves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Matadors host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Monarchs in a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 19. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 0-13. Manzano lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM)

The Jaguars now sport a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Cueva for a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 19. Capital will clash with a Bears team coming off a 1-1 league Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 12-1.
