With the triumph, Newton-Conover moves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Thursday, October 17. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 13-2. West Caldwell won 9-0 in their recent league test against Maiden (Maiden, NC)

The Cavaliers now sport a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bunker Hill for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Monday, October 21. East Burke will clash with a Bears team coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-10.
