Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), saw Parkland's soccer squad knock off East Forsyth by a count of 3-1.
The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Raiders enter the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Reagan by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 5-4, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A battle, on Monday, October 21. East Forsyth will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Demons enter the battle with a 6-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC).
