North Carolina High School Soccer - Elkin knocks off Starmount

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Elkin Buckin' Elks soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Starmount Rams.
The Buckin' Elks (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans go into the Northwest 1A outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Alleghany got by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Rams confront the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) in a Northwest 1A outing, on Monday, October 21. Starmount will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Sauras go into the outing with a 6-10 record after their 5-1 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
