The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers edged the host Saint James Saints soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Mighty Hoppers face the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) in a MAC game, on Friday, October 18. Georgetown Day will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 7-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA).
The Saints (11-8) will now prepare for their game against Maret (Washington, DC). The Frogs enter the MAC game with a 1-6 record.
