Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Groton-Dunstable moves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, October 21. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-4.

The Spartans now sport a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Groton-Dunstable for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 22. Oakmont Regional will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-3.
