Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lejeune moves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Devil Pups host Southside (Chocowinity, NC) to clash with the Seahawks in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A test on Monday, October 21. The Seahawks come into the test with a record of 12-7. Southside won 9-0 in their recent league test against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC)

The Trojans now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Leadership Academy-Johnston for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Jones will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-12.
