Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), 5-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Machias advances its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lee Academy (Lee, ME) to clash with the Pandas in a Class D - North test on Friday, October 18. The Pandas come into the test with a record of 6-5. Lee Academy lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME)

The Royals now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumner for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Jonesport-Beals will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.
