In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Chillicothe Hornets softball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Maryville Spoofhounds.
The Hornets (22-5) will now prepare for their match against Maryville (Maryville, MO). The Spoofhounds go into the non-league match with a 9-20 record. In their last match, Maryville gained a win over DeKalb (DeKalb, MO), 15-7, in a non-league match.
