With the triumph, Lanier County improves its record to 21-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Indians go into the test with a record of 6-11. Towns County lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA)

The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Lanier County prevailed over Echols County (Statenville, GA), 15-2, in a league test.
