In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Annie Wright Gators volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Vashon Island Pirates.

The Gators (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA). The Vikings come into the 1A Nisqually challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Bellevue Christian beat Charles Wright (Tacoma, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) in a 1A Nisqually challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Vashon Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA).
