Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD) and the host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers (Upper Marlboro, MD), observed Surrattsville's volleyball team top Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South by a count of 3-0.

The Hornets (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Cavaliers enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 2-8 record.

Next, the Tigers battle the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 21. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD).
