In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Knott County Central Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jenkins Cavaliers.
The Patriots (21-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 20-5 record. In their last challenge, Johnson Central beat Lawrence County (Louisa, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers meet the Red Bird Cardinals (Beverly, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
