Match Summary
In what was probably the best played match of the season, NDA rolled over the Methuen Rangers by a score of 3 sets to 1. The Cougars took an early 2-0 lead thanks to the incredible plays at the net by Caroline Hartnett who posted 12 kills and 10 blocks. She was assisted by Amelia Burgoyne who posted 20 assists and several key service points. In set 3, the Cougars were well on their way to sweeping the Rangers when team captain and phenom libero Ava Orlando went down after a spectacular dig. Ava came off the court with the fear of the unknown; her teammates rallied around her but couldn't hang on and fell 21-25. Set 4, Ava was back in action and the Cougars were back on top with a 25-16 win over the Division 1 19th ranked Rangers.
