The Vernon Hills Cougars topped the host Niles North Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 17. Vernon Hills will attempt to advance on its 19-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 11-8 record after their 2-0 league win over North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL).

The Vikings (10-18) will now prepare for their game against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves go into the Central Suburban game with a 21-11 record. In their last game, Niles West was dropped by Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
