With the win, George C. Marshall improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Statesmen travel to Herndon (Herndon, VA) to encounter the Hornets in a Liberty test on Tuesday, October 21. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 15-5. Herndon lost 3-1 in their recent league test against McLean (McLean, VA)

The Saxons now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Langley will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-15.
