California High School Flag Football - Birmingham gets by Cleveland

Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA), 6-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Birmingham advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to South East (South Gate, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Monday, October 20. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 8-8. South East lost 35-7 in their recent league match against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)

Coming up next, the Cavaliers confront the El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA) in a West Valley match, on Monday, October 20. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Royals come into the match with a 6-4 record after their 28-0 league win over Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA).
