Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 6-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Groves improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to meet the Cavaliers in a D2 Area 2 test on Monday, October 20. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Calvary Day won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)

With the defeat, Islands drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
