The Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) flag football trounced the host Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), 56-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Mesquite will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Tempe drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Sabercats in a 4A Desert Sky outing on Monday, October 20. The Sabercats come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Saguaro lost 34-9 in their recent non-league outing against Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ)
