The Quaker Valley Quakers ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting North Catholic Trojans to 1 in the Quakers league victory on Thursday.

The Quakers now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indiana for a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Thursday, October 23. Quaker Valley will play a Little Indians team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Little Indians record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, North Catholic moves to 1-3 on the season. The Trojans host Beaver (Beaver, PA) to clash with the Bobcats in a PIHL Class A Blue match on Monday, October 20. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 1-1. Beaver lost 6-0 in their recent league match against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA)
