Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights (20-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Orestimba was beaten by Ripon (Ripon, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Cougars now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripon for a test on Tuesday, October 21. Escalon will face a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Indians record now stands at 9-10.
