George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Maroons now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Giles for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 21. George Wythe will play a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Grayson County drops to 1-14 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to play the Maroon Tide in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Maroon Tide come into the outing with a record of 16-3.
