In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host James Wood Colonels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Handley Judges.
The Colonels (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Millbrook was edged by Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Judges now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Skyline for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. Handley will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-11.
