In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Meridian Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Manassas Park Cougars.
The Mustangs (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Brentsville District went down by Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now sport a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 20. Manassas Park will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-14.
