The Gadsden Panthers tipped the visiting Centennial Hawks soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Panthers face the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 game, on Tuesday, October 21. Gadsden will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 13-4 record after their 6-2 league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
The Hawks (11-5) will now prepare for their game against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights enter the 5A District 3 game with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Organ Mountain nudged Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 1-0, in a league bout.
