Virginia High School Volleyball - Nelson County crushed by Appomattox County

In Thursday's league match, the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) volleyball squad prevailed the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a Dogwood match, on Tuesday, October 21. Appomattox County will attempt to advance on its 18-1 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 15-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).

The Governors (2-13) will now prepare for their match against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Ospreys enter the Dogwood match with a 4-13 record.
