The Poly Parrots topped the visiting Arleta Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Parrots face the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 17. Poly will attempt to advance on its 10-19 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 19-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Reseda (Reseda, CA).

The Mustangs (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league outing with a 10-13 record. In their last outing, San Fernando beat Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
