Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) and the host Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN), observed Brandon/Evansville's volleyball team top Ashby by a tally of 2-0.

The Chargers (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Upsala was beaten by Benson (Benson, MN), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Arrows meet the Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. Ashby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to MACCRAY (Clara City, MN).
