In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Portola Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Biggs Wolverines.
The Tigers (13-13) will now prepare for their test against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans go into the Mid-Valley test with a 27-5 record. In their last test, Quincy was defeated by Woodcreek (Roseville, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now have a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Maxwell for a Mid-Valley challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Biggs will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-14.
