The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY) and the host Byron-Bergen Bees (Bergen, NY), saw Pembroke's volleyball squad notch a victory over Byron-Bergen by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Pembroke improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to Kendall (Kendall, NY) to meet the Eagles in a Section 5 Genesee County I contest on Friday, October 17. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 2-9.

Next, the Bees meet the Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Byron-Bergen will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, NY).
