Michigan High School Volleyball - Cass City over Laker

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI) and the visiting Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI), observed Cass City's volleyball team top Laker by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Cass City improves its record to 17-7 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Seaholm (Birmingham, MI) to encounter the Maples in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. The Maples go into the battle with a record of 7-22. Seaholm lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI)

The Lakers now own a 18-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millington for a Greater Thumb - West battle on Tuesday, October 21. Laker will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 19-8.
