New Mexico High School Volleyball - Hobbs tips Clovis

October 16, 2025: Hobbs, NM 88240

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) and the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), observed Hobbs's volleyball team hold off Clovis by a tally of 3-2.

The Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the 5A District 4 test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Carlsbad was edged by Roswell (Roswell, NM), 3-1, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roswell for a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, October 21. Clovis will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-16.
