In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Springville Tigers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Corner Yellow Jackets.
The Tigers (5-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 26-11 record. In their last test, Hayden nudged Lincoln (Lincoln, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 27-22 record.
