The Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels volleyball squad (Ridgeland, SC), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Cross Stingrays (Bluffton, SC)

With the win, Cross improves its record to 15-6 on the season. The Stingrays host Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC) to encounter the Riptide in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Riptide go into the battle with a record of 9-3. Charleston Math & Science won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Burke (Charleston, SC)
