The East Providence Townies volleyball squad (East Providence, RI), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI)

The Skippers (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the Division 1 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, La Salle Academy notched a victory over Prout (Wakefield, RI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Townies meet the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 1 contest, on Wednesday, October 22. East Providence will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 6-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI).
