The Elida Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lake Arthur Panthers to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they host Dora for a 1A District 4 outing on Tuesday, October 21. Elida will play a Coyotes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Lake Arthur drops to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM) to play the Warriors in a 1A District 4 outing on Tuesday, October 21.
