In Thursday's league challenge, the host Glenwood Springs Demons volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Summit Tigers.
The Demons (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO). The Sailors enter the 4A Western Slope challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Steamboat Springs beat Moffat County (Craig, CO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Summit will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO).
