In Thursday's league challenge, the host Half Moon Bay Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Woodside Wildcats.
The Cougars (13-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Sequoia (Redwood City, CA). The Ravens come into the Peninsula - Bay challenge with a 17-14 record. In their last challenge, Sequoia beat Westmoor (Daly City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Woodside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Scots go into the test with a 14-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).
