The Niles North Vikings topped the visiting Highland Park Giants volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Vikings now have a 15-15 record. They play next when they host Maine West for a Central Suburban outing on Tuesday, October 21. Niles North will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-18.

With the loss, Highland Park drops to 10-14 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Wheeling (Wheeling, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 18-10. Wheeling won 2-0 in their recent league game against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL)
