The John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) volleyball were victorious over the host North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Monarchs now possess a 20-6 record. They play next when they host Grafton for a Two Rivers match on Thursday, October 16. John Marshall will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Bearcats record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, North Marion drops to 2-20 on the campaign. The Huskies host Grafton (Grafton, WV) to clash with the Bearcats in a Two Rivers bout on Thursday, October 16.
