Maine High School Volleyball - Thornton Academy over Kennebunk

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) and the visiting Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME), observed Thornton Academy's volleyball team top Kennebunk by a count of 3-1.

The Trojans (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Red Storm enter the Class A contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Scarborough achieved victory over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Rams now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Biddeford for a non-league battle on Monday, October 20. Kennebunk will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.
