Illinois High School Volleyball - Metamora can't hold off Limestone

The Limestone Rockets tipped the visiting Metamora Redbirds volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Rockets confront the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 18. Limestone will attempt to advance on its 27-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 24-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Ottawa (Ottawa, IL).

With the loss, Metamora drops to 18-11 on the campaign. The Redbirds host Normal University (Normal, IL) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Monday, October 20. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 30-4. Normal University won 2-0 in their recent league match against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
