Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) and the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV), saw Lincoln's volleyball squad notch a victory over Notre Dame by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Lincoln improves its record to 6-14 on the season. The Cougars host Elkins (Elkins, WV) to encounter the Tigers in a Big Ten battle on Monday, October 20. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 15-15.

The Fighting Irish now own a 8-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a Mason-Dixon battle on Monday, October 20. Notre Dame will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 0-8.
