Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA) followers went home happy Thursday as they observed their volleyball team get by the host Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA), 3-2 in a league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league bout on Friday, October 17. Lynchburg HomeSchool will clash with a Bishops team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Southwest Virginia Academy drops to 16-9 on the campaign.
