Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) and the host North East Indians (North East, MD), observed Rising Sun's volleyball team top North East by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD). The Huskies enter the Class 1A North Region I contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Patterson Mill notched a victory over Joppatowne (Joppa, MD), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the Bel Air Bobcats (Bel Air, MD) in a Class 2A East Region I contest, on Tuesday, October 21. North East will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record.
