Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Ridgeview Wolf Pack (Bakersfield, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (17-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Bakersfield, CA). The Golden Hawks enter the South Yosemite River challenge with a 27-10 record. In their last challenge, Centennial was beaten by Liberty (Bakersfield, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wolf Pack meet the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Ridgeview will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Drillers enter the test with a 11-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA).
