The Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys topped the visiting William Campbell Generals volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Ospreys face the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood outing, on Tuesday, October 21. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Governors come into the outing with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA).

With the loss, William Campbell drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Dogwood outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 9-8. Dan River lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
